Anti-canadian Outlook By The United States?

I find myself rather confused by the continuing anti-Canadian hate many of us are receiving via the United States.Most commonly people attribute this to the fact that we have socialized medicine (free health care for those of you who don’t understand) and because Canada did not support the United States in regards to the invasion of Iraq. Firstly socialized medicine is a great thing and every country should have it, its not communism its progress. Secondly why is it such a big issue that Canada didn’t support the Invasion? If you read a history book you would see that the U.S. did not officially join World War 2 until December, 9 1941. The war started September,1 1939, Canada joined September, 10 1939. Yet Canada does not hold that against the U.S. So to my point what is the problem? Canada is a successful country we supply the U.S with many natural resources including, Timber, Electricity about 3/4′s of all our exports are to the U.S. We have an exceptionally skilled and well trained military.Our health care might not be the best in the world, it has some issues like everywhere else but the main thing is that it works. Canada is not evil Canada does not support terrorism or communism. As a society we thrive so I ask why do people hold this country in such low regard? I am a Canadian I am proud to be one I wont boast that this is the greatest country in the world because such a place does not exist. No one has the right to say that their country is better than another. I realize I am setting myself up for hate spam but I don’t care. My question is legitimate I have stated the things that Canada has done and is doing I have not “dissed” anyone’s country or heritage I am simply asking.
