Best Download Sites For Anime?

What are the best places to download anime? I watch a ton of streaming stuff from netflix hulu crunchyroll and a few other sites. I’d like to download some stuff but I’m scared to death to do illegal downloads because of experiences in my limewire days (viruses, spyware, trojans out the a$$) does anyone here do a lot of downloading w.o. getting tons of viruses?
