I need to convert word documents from my work into pdf docs (as is our weird policy to have every document saved both in MS Word and PDF..)
Some people in work use Foxit but i really don’t like it – any other suggestions?

These three programs will add a virtual printer, so you just go to ms word and choose print and then choose the virtual printer
and they are all free
My recommendation is try Classic PDF editor, because I have used it and it works like a charm. It is also one of the best alternative of Adobe Acrobat you may checkout its review here http://www.uptomark.com/best-alternative…
Its is also batter then Foxit, checkout review here http://www.dannyodaygospelmusic.com/tech…
Follow this interesting tutorial to know how to edit PDF file here http://www.classicpdf.com/How-To-Edit-PD…
So, you need a pdf tool to help convert word to pdf?
It’s really easy to do this, just with some pdf creators, maybe you could try simpo pdf creator lite, it helps you to convert office to pdf, not just word.
if you want to give it a try, this is the download link: http://www.simpopdf.com/pdf-creator-lite…
it’s free.
Which version of Word are you using? Because this functionality is built into Word 2007 and later. If it wasn’t installed automatically, there’s a Save As PDF plugin you can download for free from Microsoft.
I’v tried that, No really free edition. They always leave links in your docs.
I think some trial version may help you but it will charge soon.
how about adobe acrobat?
