Earlier today I was going like ten over the speed limit. It was only a one lane street (one lane going north, one lane going south) I was going north and i saw a cop heading south. I knew it was too late to slow down so i just took my foot from the gas pedal and prepared to get pulled over. The cop had his lights on and he was trying to turn but the street was too narrow so it took him a while. I saw this and decided to make a right turn. I got away from him. The question is however, my license plates are REALLY EASY to remember. as in one letter and two numbers easy. So even though I didnt get pulled over, can the cop just search my easily remembered license plate in the database, find my house address, and mail me a ticket? (I know it was stupid to get easily identifiable license plates)

Entirely possible should the cop wish to pursue that. Chances are he won’t unless your violation was extreme. And more than likely he would look you up in person if he would cite you.
Yes, they can mail you a ticket. Wanna give getting out of it a shot? Ask for a copy of where the radar gun shot YOUR CAR going the speed theybhave you down for. If they don’t send it in 1week(I think, my dates may be off) then you don’t have to pay it.
Depends on where you live, No cops are allowed to do this, but ive seen it happen, It’s happen to me in fact. They aren’t allowed to because they don’t know if it was another person driving or not. Most cops are to lazy to do this unless they are out to get someone that day.
If he got you on photo radar then yes he can. The ticket will probably be mailed to you with a picture of your license plate and the details of the speeding violation.
If he wanted to, he would have run your plates and been waiting at your house.
You’re fine, slow down.
You could get a ticket in the mail, but I doubt you will
He was probably being dispatched to a call and he had no interest in you
Don’t worry about it.
