I’ve read that ItsDeductible (TurboTax’s deduction calculator) gives higher FMV amounts for donated goods than DeductionPro. I have historically used H&R Block software. I’m wondering if I can use ItsDeductible for my donations and then import that data into H&R Block At Home.
Thanks.

The H&R Block At Home software will import current year data from any financial software that you can export the file in a TXF format. Most financial programs export information in the TXF file format. ItsDeductible’s documentation, either the user guide or online help, should indicate if you can export information in the TXF format.
If you can’t find the answer, follow the steps in the documentation for creating an export file and check the Save As Type list in the Export dialog box. If TXF is listed as a file format, you can import your information into the program.
If your personal finance program can’t make a TXF file, you won’t be able to import the information. However, the program always lets you enter information as you move through the Interview so you’ll still have an opportunity to enter your information.
