My last real period was in Feb starting on the 3rd. I continued mild spotting for 4 months into my pregnancy which led me to believe I wasn’t pregnant 3 months of that time. I told my doctor about the spotting so he ordered an ultrasound to date pregnancy. On April 29, he said I was ten and a half weeks pregnant. On July 16th I had the ultrasound telling me it was a girl (around 20 weeks). Now, according to doc, I am coming up on 30 weeks. However, I have been leaking colostrum for a week, feeling soft Braxton-Hicks for two weeks, possibly feeling her getting into head down position. I think I am at least 2 weeks ahead of doc. This is my first pregnancy- am I just freakin out and rushing or could my baby be small? Could doc be off by 2 weeks?

I’m going through the exact thing as we speak.. I KNOW for a fact my last period was December 26th.. which would have led me to be 37 weeks already, I had my u/s that said I was 2 weeks below that mark and instead of 20 weeks pregnant, I was only 18 weeks, regular checkups are now showing that I may be over the progressive 35 I’m supposably atm. ,, and Im feelin the pain. but depending on how big the baby is can give a wrong estimate,.. I’ve always given birth to 4 pound babies (3) & now there unsure if they’re calculations are right … so I’m screwed only way to ttell now is to go into labor ..
Leaking colostrum can happen at any time in pregnancy. Some women experience it as early as 15 weeks and others never do. BH contractions can also happen at any time and babies can turn head down at any point as well. None of what you described screams of you being further along than what you are. It’s possible, sure, as due dates aren’t exact but being 1-2 weeks “off” either way is normal anyway. I measured 2-3 weeks ahead with first and it came down to me being further along in the end as we were told he’d be over 9 lbs. and he was only 7 lbs. at birth.
I started leaking colostrum when I was 16 weeks preggo. And I haven’t gone into labor. Is your uterus measuring the same as your weeks? Anything is possible, they wont know for sure til after she’s born.
