No, but a lot of companies will give you MAJOR discounts on their software if you’re registered at a university.
Free software is everyone’s right but what you mean to ask for is commercial software for free. Taking an example of my past uni., they are members of msdn network, so they are allowed to let all comp. sci. students take home a student version of MS development tools setup CD to install and do their assignments from home.
Its gotta have some purpose.
Most universities have a program where you can get software for free or a very small fee. Check with your library or IT department.
Hmmi i dont think they give you that sort of stuff,.
My mathamatics degree gave me some free maths software programs though which would have cost me a ton too buy.
I don’t think that Universities would give you major free software like Microsoft Office
