Does My Laptop Support Wpa2?

By admin Posted in: Network Security Software

i recently bought a router and i was having difficulties connecting on a secured (WPA2) network via wireless and the only way i could connect was if i disabled the security. i went to tech support and the dude had me change it to WEP and it works now but i dont feel like its super secure. does that mean my laptop doesnt work with WPA?

You should sue the “dude” that told you to change it to wep, bc he should know that that wpa is better. Like me I would recommend you using wpa bc its a good encryption, some of the problem with wpa2 is that it can suck the batteries. It uses more energy to understanding the signals. In other word get wpa and make the password long and more unique, or at least try.
