Has Stephen Hawking Gone Soft In The Head?

By admin Posted in: software

I just read that he has concluded that God does not exist because gravity is all you need to create the universe out of nothing. But who created gravity? This just confirms for me that Hawking is a charlatan. I was never much impressed with his information theory about black holes and he hasnt done dik worth quoting in research terms in upwards of 40 years. Why does anyone even listen to this sheister?

Why should anyone listen to you? Stephen Hawking is a very respected member of the scientific community, and has very interesting THEORIES (yes they are theories, not fact) that are more believable than “God did it”. You show how ignorant you are by stating God in your question. If you were born in any non catholic/christian country you would probably replace ‘God’ with the equivalent higher power of the native religion.
And unlike you, he uses reason, logic and scientific methods to support his claims. Sorry, but your the charlatan.

I would rather believe there is no god, a supreme being who knows all, sees all, and controls all. If there were, daily events throughout history and even now surely show that god could not care less about mankind.
What we have is power hungry charlatans who capitalize on the inherent fears of mankind to create a power structure to their benefit through organized religion. Want proof? Look at the centuries of conflict, killing and torture done to each other by members of the same religion: Islam. Here the Sunni and Shiite have been destroying each other simply because one tribe reneged on the other in a deal of who would head up the faith back in around 700 AD. That war, which killed millions on both side during the Iran Iraq war continues to be about power, not faith.
No, I would rather believe that mankind has brought all of this on itself without the intervention of some sort of god.
As to Steven, he’s not alone. Einstein did all his best work when he was young, too. That is the nature of physics and the other hard sciences. The innovative work tends to get done by the young.
To a point, Hawking’s “Into the Universe with Steven Hawking,” aired recently on the Discovery Channel is a really good piece of work. So he has not been idle recently.

Why does everything has to have a creator? and if everything did, god woudl need a creator himself. What is more credible, something we do observe and understand to have been around forever (like a the universe or the universal constants) or something we never experienced, that is infinitely complex and powerful, to exist AND create everything?

Why don’t you actually read what Hawking says (when his book comes out) instead of reading (and believing) what somebody else said about what Hawking says.
    To answer your question: No.

    Who created God?
This is an obvious setup for a “DERP DERP SOMETHING FROM NOTHING” flame war.
