   Go to System Configuration, Profiles, choose your user and see if there are unknown programs which run at startup. Delete them if you don’t recognise them. Also. open System Monitor (from Utilities) and stop the processes you found suspicious in your profile. Restart your Mac and empty the Safary cache. Restart again and see if there are some good news. If not, then you may try the trial variant of ESET NOD32 for Mac: it’s complete, functional, and you may trash it after using it, but it’s 80% sure that you’ll be OK, even without NOD32. Good luck!
