I’ve used WireShark before, and I’m looking for a method other than third party software that will allow myself to see what IP addresses my computer is contacting, or communicating with. Or what the same for what my router is doing. Essentially, I want to be able to monitor the communication of my computer, like a firewall would. Even if this means programming a 1000+ Line script.

run netstat at command prompt.
it will show all active nodes.
left click your network connection icon in your desktop, then doubleclick properties, then a Local Area Connection Properties folder appear, then click Internet Protocol TC/PIP then click the OK button.
