ok so i’m on a computer that has spyware doctor spyware scan installed on it and thats it. i want to uninstall the program so i can install something free that gives full antivirus protection, but i have an issue…
i know that you can’t have 2 spyware/antivirus things installed at the same time or they will conflict. so i would be deleting spyware doctor and installing something else [probably avast but i dunno] however spyware doctor has a trojan and a piece of spyware in its quarentine…..if i uninstall the program, will they be deleted with it, or will they be released onto my computer?
i’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but i havn’t done much with switching antivirus in a while and i cant remember D:

You can safely uninstall Spyware Doctor. The stuff that is in it’s quarantine will either be deleted or remain in a quarantine folder which you can delete if you have no intention of reinstalling Spyware Doctor and restoring it’s quarantined files.
Quarantine contains data for restoring things, it’s not like what’s in it can do anything on it’s own or is some living being just waiting to bust out.
