softwares reviews give the advice for u to buy the softwares

I have a wireless router and I know the network name and password. When I try to connect to my computer it asks for the security type, which I am completely unsure of. I will enter the password written on the modem and it seems to connect, but when I try going online it says I have no connection. Is this a different password it’s asking for then what’s on the modem? What’s the security type? UGH HELP. And when I use WEP it says the password on the modem doesn’t have the right amount of characters. Please help!!!

I know AVG, Avast and G-data have the capability to block a malicious website if it is infested or have fake antivirus scan. This is known as link scanner (in AVG), network shield (in avast) and web filter (in G-data). Which other antiviruses have this capability? I know for sure mcafee does not have it. And I mean antivirus, not security suite

Whenever I convert a word document or a pdf file that contains Japanese characters to mobi (for viewing on Amazon Kindle) using Calibre, the Japanese characters just disappear from the document. Is there any way to get Calibre to support this properly? I don’t really like having to rely on online converters.

My boyfriend and I are at odds about how legitimate a psych degree is.
I am a Computer Science major and he is Comp Sci/Psych double.
He says I am very judgmental of people in psychology and I look upon them with disgust when they whine about having to write a 3 paragraph response to a paper when I stay up for days straight to program an efficient database structure.
I imagine I have a negative view of psychology for the following reasons:
- I have met many people who have dropped out of engineering majors into psychology, giving me the impression it is a lazy major.
- I have reviewed some of the material in the classes finding it to be quite intuitive i.e. Psych 101: People in different cultures will smile when they are happy proving it is a human reaction and not learned through culture.
- I have sat in on upper division psychology lectures finding the material quite easy to follow. I doubt the same would happen if a psychology major went to my algorithms class.
- The only psychology graduates I know work at Taco Bell or work as a waitress.
- I don’t know what Psychology majors can really do with their BA.
- Results of studies can only be published and talked about but cannot be proven as scientific fact. i.e. It’s a “soft science”.
- I have found that psych majors at my school dress weirdly and dye their hair strange colors perpetuating their stereotype.
- I believe that funding is diverted away from more legitimate majors (like STEM majors) to help with how impacted Psychology has become.
- I don’t know how psychology changes the world in a significant way.
Please help me change my opinion and provide points which negate my beliefs.

it was 2002 , but it looks identical to the 1999 model. although every database shows it as 2002 it is an s-reg which is definately 1999. all mechanics have explained the parts of the car that make it 1999, why would it be reg. as 2002?

Hello guys, I’m in need of a good computer, and I like building them myself but it’s the first time I’m actually buying the parts myself instead of through my friend. I’m looking into doing gaming as well as graphics designing and some heavy-duty IT Stuff. I hook up customer HDDs and scan 2 simultaneously, 1 with MSE, and 1 with another software, this combined with running Adobe Photoshop, playing some hard-core games and copying GBs of data at the same time- I hope to get a machine that will be able to handle this kind of work daily. Trying to keep the cost under $1,200 WITH Tax
BTW Please feel free to speak up, I can raise the budget a bit if it’ll result in a substantial boost in performance-I want this to pay for itself.

My best friend who is gay lives with me now and last night I got really grossed out. I was asleep but when I woke up, I saw my bff jack himself off while watching porn. It was so disgusting. I didn’t see anything since his back was facing me, but you can hear it and see what he was watching. It will be forever in my mind. :/ What should I do? I really dont want him doing that in my room but we are sharing my room now. Half of the room is his and half is mine. But..I dont want him watching that crap on MY computer and doing what he did while I was in the room too. I guess he thought I was sleeping or something. Idk..but it grosses me out so bad. I’m the one who made his account on my computer. Should I put parental controls on it or what? I haven’t said anything to him about what happened last night. If he does it again, then should I say something?
