softwares reviews give the advice for u to buy the softwares

So, my windows firewall is on, but I want my avast internet security to be my main firewall. Normally when people change antivirus, the firewall of the antivirus is automatically changed to the main one isn’t it? When I disable the windows firewall, it doesn’t say that the firewall now is the one from avast. My avast firewall is on.

we have passwords on our laptops so our son (stepson for me) has to ask for it before he can use them, but he got a small net-book from his mother and he can get online through the WiFi connection in our house, I ma worried about the websites he visit and we would like to use some protection. Can I set up a control for the WiFi? or it only works for the computer?

I’m looking for some software that will backup my selected folders from my main hardrive on my computer to an external hardrive in real time as i save things (selecting certain intervals to save is an option e.g every 15 minutes), is there such a thing??, cheap is good, free is better!!

With the news that Facebook is supposed to be launching a share issue, the BBC News said that Facebook sells information it gathers from peoples’ profiles to sell to advertisers etc, and that is how Facebook is funded and why it is free to users.
To me it seems that this is just a new form of spyware or phishing. What do others think?

Since I turned 18 I’ve been using taxact.com an never had any problems an it only cost $17 for fed an state returns. Guess. I was jw if there is really much of a difference for a guy like me who has a simple return. I’m 24 make about 52k an have one child. I have a drive that was quick formatted over from ntfs to what appears to be fat16. I have been able to recover other data from the drive using a couple data recovery programs however I have not been able to restore the most important .sql databases. Are there any (free) utilities to restore .sql files or is there a way to recover or recreate the MFT of the ntfs?

Whenever I start my laptop it brings up an error with cryptman32.dll on it. It says it was unable to start it. I just ran a virus scan and my computer had several issues all of which my antivirus removed from my computer. Now I really just want this message to go away when I turn on my laptop but I’m not good with computer stuff at all. Any help would be appreciated.
