Weird Acting Internet Browsers?

By admin Posted in: Spyware Blockers Software

I recently (about 2 months now) bought a new laptop (Acer 5820T), and Internet has been working perfectly. However, since yesterday, some pages load really slow, with IE and Firefox (For example Youtube). And when they do load after about 3 minutes, the layout is completely wrong (Like Youtube, it’s just a bunch of links below each other now). Other pages like Google load completely normal. Is this a problem with my pc (Windows 7), with my modem, Internet provider (I live in Belgium), …? I also ran Microsoft Security Essentials (with a Full Scan), and it didn’t find any kind of virus or spyware.

It’s either your ISP or your connection to the internet. If your computer before this one didn’t give you such problems, then the ISP (internet service provider) isn’t the problem. I would look into making sure your network drivers are updated properly and troubleshoot your connectivity to the internet (especially if it’s wireless).
