For example..
Spyware Doctor.
And
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.
Any of the antivirus sites you can recommend.
If its one of ‘em i just posted, let me know.
If you got a different one, please tell me.
Bonus Q:Would It Be The Safest As Well?

Avg by far has almost anything you could think of for protection. here is a download link for it:
http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html
it is free to and there is a 30 day trial with it.
Malwarebytes’: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Avast: http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
Both great programs. Avast for realtime, and malwarebytes for power.
But get all you can for maximum protection. I know this sounds stupid, but free AVG, Avast, And Malwarebytes for free is actually pretty safe. Glast is also good. Avast is the most customizable however. You can make custom scans and such. Malwarebytes only offers realtime in its free version. AVG is good in its own sense
The safest(not sure what you mean by “safest)
would be All three combined, like i do. I almost never get a virus on my computer with those three programs.
Use Avast, because it is better than most, and the free version only has to be renewed once a year. And I dont give a damn what DOOD says in response to your question, He is wrong in suggesting you run two virus programs at the same time. DO NOT run Avast and AVG at the same time, like DOOD said to, because they will cancel each other out, and you will have no protection at all. Antivirus programs are selfish, and only want to play alone. Call ANY reputable computer store in the book, and they will tell you the same. I hope you take my advice, because I am right.
There are a vast number of anit-virus’s that you can choose from, depending on what you do with your computer is up to you. I personally use AVG it has never let me down. Norton does require alot of computer space and it takes up alot of RAM as well. The tag team of Malwarebytes and AVG are possibly the best thing anybody can have(mostly cause thats what i prefer to use.) All in all whichever you decide is up to you. BUT DO NOT BE CHEAP!
HAPPY BROWSING
Here’s a better idea: Don’t use Anti-Virus software, it’s all crap, can’t tell the difference between a keylogger and a pile of dog crap. Just use your common sense when downloading a file, and never run an .exe you downloaded without running it in a sandbox program first.
So far I am using Avast and Spybot Search and Destroy.
In evaluating in using an anti-spyware or anti virus program take note on how fast the program update its virus definitions since new viruses and malwares are propping up.
the most recommended is often not the best, i use Comodo Internet Security added with Geswall just youtube them both and see how good they are if you know how to use them, here comes the thumbs down n Kaspersky isnt that good as people think
Glary is the best and safest! I wouldn’t use any other anti virus program.
Avira
I like Avast.
