Where Can A Straight A University Student Majoring In Mcd Biology Get A Decent Paying Job In…?

…Chicago for two months?
I am currently enrolled at the University of California at Santa Cruz and have junior status as of this fall. Also, I have been hired as a Resident Advisor and as the campus photographer for the 2007-2008 school year. I have a very nice resume that I would be happy to share. I have worked as a technology consultant, web designer, graphic designer, marketing manager, photographer, and as an independent contractor on many other types of jobs before. I am 19 years old and very experienced with most technology. I have worked in a chemistry laboratory, and have worked on and am still working on a cyborg research project to create the world’s largest cyborg database. I am paying outrageous out of state fees to attend my university, so I need to generate a fair amount of money this summer. I live in Park Ridge, IL and have a car, so any job within the Chicagoland area will work for me. Suggestions and job offers are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I used to work in government and every summer we hired summer interns, always college students, which we got through letters they’d sent us earlier in the year. If you want to work for just two months, this might be perfect for you.
So get going! Write some nice letters (NOT e-mail; snail mail) to all the governments in the Chicago area: the mayor’s office, the transportation people, county offices, state offices, etc. You could probably find all of these on a website — wait, I’ll look for you. Hospitals, too.
    Ok, here’s one: http://www.ci.chi.il.us/city/webportal/h…
Try everyone and everywhere. Companies do it, too. Non-profits even do it.
You have so many qualifications I’m sure someone would love to hire you. But do it now.
    Get going! And good luck!
