   I personally use Avast on one of my computers and AVG on another computer. Both seem to be running smoothly and not taking up much PC memory. Besides the program and antivirus signature database is updated quite frequently and the scan that runs in the background almost doesn’t feel like taking any memory at all.
   The virus alert programs on both of them seems to be working very good, since they managed to catch viruses that other programs were not able to. Both antivirus programs are free to use, though more tools and enhanced security features are already charged. There’s one slight Avast drawback – it’s quite compluicated to browse between the scan and upgrade choices and you have to get used to it. Avg is simpler in that case, but it’s already up to you to decide.

   Avast Antivirus is best antivirus then all others, I am using since many years but I never got any problem with viruses and malwares, it is free and very easy to use. If this antivirus is installed in your PC then you don’t need to be worried , it will catch any virus whether it is too heavy
